During our evangelisation in Cacuaco, we encountered a woman leaving a pharmacy, visibly shaken and with a very sad expression. We felt moved to speak with her about God's love and restorative power. As she listened, she began to cry deeply. With an open heart, she told us that 14 days ago, she had had an argument with her husband, and during that episode, she suffered a stroke on the left side of her body (thrombosis).
Her husband constantly blamed her for what happened, leaving her feeling helpless and hopeless. She then asked us to come to her home. We accepted the invitation, and upon arriving, we noticed a heavy and spiritually charged atmosphere. We clearly sensed the presence of destruction in that home. CompassionMoved by compassion, we preached the gospel to her husband and children. By God's grace, at that moment, her husband made the decision to accept Jesus as his Savior, along with his children. Furthermore, he asked his wife for forgiveness, restoring that relationship before the Lord. Jesus ChangesToday, the whole family is worshiping with us and continuing in discipleship. Her husband, who had abandoned therapy, has returned to treatment, now with renewed courage and hope. Praise God for this great transformation! |
